Rieseberg notes that additional programs such as Microsoft Encarta ’95 can be obtained from directories such as the Macintosh Repository via the host computer and then fed into the virtual machine. Also classic games like Oregon Trail and demos by Duke Nukem 3D and Civilization II are included on board. Rieseberg also included additional software from an old MacWorld demo CD, including demo versions of old Adobe tools such as Photoshop 3, Illustrator 5.5 and Premiere 4. The emulator cannot establish an Internet connection itself, but Netscape Navigator and the old Web Sharing Server from Mac OS are included – as well as programs pre-installed in Classic Mac OS, including stickies, jigsaw puzzles and note pads. Mac OS 8.1 sends friendly greetings from the Electron app.
